My Background
I completed a PhD in philosophical theology at Carleton University/Dominican University College in 2017. I have extensive experience speaking at conferences, delivering presentations at churches and universities, participating in interviews, and leading graduate school seminars.
I wrote a book on consciousness in 2018 that was published by Wipf and Stock. The book is titled On the Origin of Consciousness, and it was well endorsed and reviewed by renowned scientists, philosophers, and theologians. Much of my work in theology has been heavily philosophically informed. I took many courses in philosophy throughout my undergraduate studies. I have also taken a wide variety of courses in science, mathematics, economics, sociology, and history.
I’m an independent scholar and researcher, author, editor, speaker, and instructor. I have worked in both the private and public sectors in a variety of positions, including human resources, administration, security, hotel room supervisor, tennis instructor, research assistant, and bookstore manager. I also ran my own vending machine business from 2010 to 2016. Since October 2020, I have run my own publishing house, True Freedom Press. To date, True Freedom Press has published six books, and more are set to be published in the coming months.
