Robert F. Kennedy Jr.: The Presidential Dark Horse
As I scoured through Crisis Magazine’s archive, I noticed there was not even a single mention of Robert F. Kennedy Jr. (RFK Jr.). So I thought that, given his recent announcement of his bid for the leadership of the Democratic Party, a piece about him would be of interest to Crisis readers.
His uncle, John F. Kennedy, the 35th president of the United States, was assassinated in 1963. Five years later, in 1968, his father, Robert F. Kennedy, the former United States attorney general, who at the time was running for the Democratic presidential nomination, was also assassinated. His cousin, the son of JFK, also known as John-John or JFK Jr., who was an American attorney, journalist, and magazine publisher, tragically died in a plane crash in 1999. Needless to say, the Kennedy family has been marred by tragedy.

I’ll make some brief remarks about the debate, and then I’ll proceed to discuss an argument that would unify both debaters, in spite of their differences.

Novak Djokovic’s Win Is a Win for the Vaccine-Free
I must admit that I was never a big fan of Djokovic but I respected his work ethic, talent, and abilities. However, my attitude toward Djokovic changed after witnessing the strength of his character and convictions amidst the adversity and ordeal he went through last year in Australia.
Time for Accountability, not Pandemic Amnesty
In the end, we must uphold the human person’s dignity above becoming complacent and meek Christians for the sake of charity and in the name of a false understanding of forgiveness. We must stand up for what is true and good, regardless of the circumstances and pressures of our society and culture.
